Christian Bale stars in the film TERMINATOR SALVATION which is both a sequel and a prequel to the wildly popular time-travel/killer robot action franchise. Set in post-apocalyptic 2018 the film picks up the story of hero John Connor, played by Bale. The rebel leader has a personal vendetta with the Terminators who killed his mother (originally played by Linda Hamilton) and his father. And he is the man fated to be the leader of the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. I think this was as good if not better than the others. It's constant action, and the story moves quickly without a large need for backstory (assuming you have seen the others). Even if you haven't...it is awesome! I would watch it again!!!
