Storyline

In the middle of a raging thunderstorm, a traveling circus accidentally leaves behind some very precious cargo--a baby zebra. The gangly little foal is rescued by horse farmer Nolan Walsh, who takes him home to his young daughter Channing. Once a champion thoroughbred trainer, Walsh has given up horse training for a quiet life with Channing on their modest Kentucky farm. "Racing Stripes" is a 2005 adventure movie. Shattered illusions are hard to recover from - especially for a good-hearted zebra named Stripes (voiced by Frankie Muniz) who's grown up on a Kentucky farm thinking he's a debonair thoroughbred. But once he faces the fact that his stark stripes mark him as different, he decides he'll race anyway. And not only will he compete, but with help from the young girl (Hayden Panettiere) who raised him, Stripes may just end up in the winner's circle. "Racing Stripes" directed by Frederik Du Chau.
