When Willy Wonka decides to let five children into his chocolate factory, he decides to release five golden tickets in five separate chocolate bars, causing complete mayhem. The tickets start to be found, with the fifth going to a very special boy, called Charlie Bucket. With his Grandpa, Charlie joins the rest of the children to experience the most amazing factory ever. "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is a 2005 family fantasy. Lucky boy Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore) is one of five golden-ticket holders treated to a tour of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory in Tim Burton's reimagining of Roald Dahl's classic children's book of the same name. Along with the other four (rather naughty) contest winners, good-hearted Charlie visits the factory and encounters fantastical candy creations, Oompa Loompas and the fascinating Wonka (Johnny Depp) himself. I liked it, but the story has changed so much! The color is better, the plot has getting bigger, and Charlie is still the good kid. It's really worth watching, although maybe for slightly older kids as it does make dentists terrifying.
